We already know there's maybe more than a few things wrong with me. But I think that some of the things that are wrong with me could also mayhaps be construed sometimes as kind of right. No matter which side of that argument your heart tells you to follow, it probably won't surprise you that I've watched this piece of television/sports history three five times now.

There is so much going on here. Like, say, for instance, when Howard Cosell says, "she's a bouncy little thing, isn't she?" about Joyce DeWitt. Or when he asks, "how 'bout you, Randi?" (Watch for it.) Or when the Liza version of "New York, New York" plays in the background during the triumphant slow-mo replay of surprisingly leggy Scott Baio's easy victory over an elaborate obstacle course made just for the stars! I actually remember watching this when it aired. Needless to say, I'm getting a lot more out of it in my middle age. Because with age comes wisdom and maturity.
