Speaking of business
Super freaking busy.
Unexpectedly, my turkey holiday, while not without a few less than graceful moments due, in part, to over hydration and/or hang over induced retardation as per uge, turned out to be a cornucopia of culinary and other delights. It began on Thursday, post dinner with the family, after saddling up at a dining room table for eight, and it didn't end until three nights later. In between there was prosecco, and champers, and late night lemon drops, run-ins, and vodka gimlets, other people's parties, Haitian salsa (?!?!???), extraordinary company, The Manatee, the Ziegfeld, apologies to taxicab drivers, problematic spanish, getting closer to one of my major life goals (I'm looking at you, Metallica), juicy white meat, and some stuffing between my gams.
Happy December. What would Susan Miller do?
