18 and Life
So far being 34 is pretty good. Just so you know. Since my official general birthday time, and in part because late-July through the end of August was so stressful, I've really been pretending like I don't have a job. Actually, I don't have a job so, rather, I've been pretending like I don't need to be a normal adult person and actually work for a living. And it is still my birthday time because there's another party on Saturday for the occasion. This is exciting to me. And hilarious and ridiculous. I think I may have gone a little too far with my whole "embrace your inner teen" motto. I'm regressing as I'm getting older... and hornier! And menopausal!
Anyway, this party plan involves performances and rock and roll attire. And maybe a little sweet birthday action if I'm lucky. Which, come to think of it, is kind of how last weekend went on the night of my natality. (Have you ever seen Rene Risque and the Art Lovers? Or Hair Supply? What I would say is, do.)
Point is, I will be a normal person after around the 24th or so, I swear. Then it is totally Back-to-school.
Meanwhile, this is a direct quote from my horoscope for today:
Virgo's key planet Mercury forms an annoying quincunx with erratic Uranus. We are further confused by sensual Venus as it quincunxes elusive Neptune. It's hard to know what to do, for the path is not clear.
Quincunxes are so confusing!
