Just came across the portfolio of photographer Sam Handel, husband of the eternally lovely Lauren Ambrose of "Six Feet Under." Nice photos of Iceland, Ms. Ambrose and a couple of the other SFU cast members, as well as shots of a brunette Busy Phillips (for "Freaks and Geeks" fans worldwide) that made me really happy.

(Trivia: Handel is from my hometown of Boston. One of the papers there quoted Lauren Ambrose as saying, "We met on the East Coast and here in L.A. and it was fated. He keeps me sane and grounded. Because we have such a wonderful life at home, it helps me be a good actress.'' I must have been having a self-righteous-single-girl moment when I read that because it almost made me hurl. )

This is a quiet diversion for a Wednesday night when I am otherwise working my little fingers to their bony bones and have run out of both cigarettes and ice cream.
