Chapter One: You Didn't Really Get Too Far
Here's a new strategy I've developed for plugging along on my novel.
Whenever I write a sentence and then pause -- because I can't find the next sentence and I look away from the computer, resting my fingers on the keys, remembering the emails I have to answer and that useless bit of information I keep wanting to Google -- I just hit save.
My iBook goes, "Tahdah!" and I feel like I've accomplished something.
Stress? I laugh so hard at the thought. But you can't hear it because I'm laughing on the inside.
